The company also receives orders for glove based medical products from European and US based wearables companies

DRAPER, Utah, Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (FLXT) today announced Netherlands based Manus Machina, a virtual reality and gaming company with the world's first consumer virtual reality glove, who in October 2014 was selected from 10,000 candidates for the Dutch StartupBootcamp HighTechXL, has recently placed custom sensor orders for the launch of their virtual reality platform which incorporates their SDK, open source software and next generation technologies from other elite tech companies.

Developers of various types will develop on this platform and release their products, such as games, for consumers around the world to enjoy. Additionally, European and US based wearables companies have recently placed orders for sensors to be used in new, glove-based, medical products.

IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Wearables, especially the gloves sub-segment, are prime examples of rapidly growing market segments that have adopted and adapted the Bend Sensor® with overwhelming success. These deals and products could potentially generate several million dollars in revenue for Flexpoint in 2016 and beyond.

It is rapidly becoming a truly impressive portfolio for us. In the recent past, we have announced companies who leverage the Bend Sensor® such as mi.mu - award winners at the Microsoft Wearable IT Fashion Tech Awards in Berlin, and Mettis Trainer - Honoree at the 2016 CES awards."

There are a multitude of other companies being recognized for their revolutionary products utilizing the Bend Sensor®. Companies of note include biomed-focused Neofect (winner of Grand Prize from the 9th (2014) Digital Innovation Awards, as well as the Minister Prize from Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning), and industrial-focused glove manufacturer Proglove (Winner of the IoT / M2M Innovation World Cup 2014/15).

"Innovation never stops, and the fact that our team and our sensor technology has demonstrated time and again the ability to 'help people turn vision into reality' speaks volumes.  This track record is enviable," continued Sexauer.
