The split by 6 of the Sartorius Stedim Biotech shares (DIM FP | STDM.PA) and the respective adjustment of the par value per
share will become effective May 10, 2016. The share split will be conducted automatically, without any additional costs or
formalities for the shareholders and will have no impact on their rights. The operation was approved by the Annual General
Shareholders’ Meeting (AGM) on April 5, 2016, following a significant increase in the share price over the past two years and aims
at increasing the tradability of Sartorius Stedim Biotech shares.
After the split, the share capital of Sartorius Stedim Biotech S.A. will be divided into 92,180,190 shares.
