The International Hockey Group Announces Rebrand to WD Sports & Entertainment Inc.

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - August 18, 2020) - The International Hockey Group (IHG), one of hockey's leading NHLPA certified agencies, today announced its rebranding to WD Sports & Entertainment Inc. (wdagencies.com).

Based in Toronto, Canada, WD Sports & Entertainment is a sports and talent management agency for athletes, entertainment and media personalities. With over two decades of experience in advising many of the world's top athletes, entertainers and brands, WD Sports & Entertainment offers clients its expertise in athlete and talent representation, brand development, contract negotiations and marketing and endorsement opportunities. In addition, through its affiliation with Wildeboer Dellelce LLP and the WD Group of Companies, financial management, tax and estate planning and corporate/commercial legal services will be offered to its clients.

Murray Koontz, founder and President of IHG, will serve as President and CEO of WD Sports & Entertainment and will remain responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of its business. Chris Muise, who recently joined from Wasserman Sports & Entertainment, will lead all marketing and endorsement initiatives. Gregg Sutch, who joined IHG in 2017, will continue to oversee player development and all athlete advisory services.
