Else Nutrition (TSX:BABY) has won a placement for its ready-to-drink kids shakes with one of Canada’s largest online retail platforms.

In keeping with the client’s big-box warehouse club format, the shakes will be available in large retail packs, creating a path for in-store distribution in the U.S. and Canada.

The shakes, which come in vanilla and chocolate flavours, will enjoy “immediate national distribution,” according to a news release, offering families access to a vitamin-rich, low-sugar, as well as dairy, soy and gluten-free alternative.

“Launching our ready-to-drink kids shakes on this major online platform marks an important milestone in our mission to offer healthy and delicious nutritional products to Canadian families nationwide,” Hamutal Yitzhak, chief executive officer and co-founder of Else Nutrition, said in a statement. “We are proud to collaborate with this large retailer and believe this is an important step towards offering our products in their stores across North America. Given the positive feedback from consumers, as well as the significant traction we are witnessing in the market, we believe we are well-positioned to leverage this relationship to increase market share and assist in accelerating our growth.”

The news follows a number of similarly high-profile deals with household names in the pharmacy, retail, grocery and natural and organic food spaces.

Else Nutrition develops plant-based food and nutrition products for infants, toddlers, children and adults. The company’s retail presence stands at approximately 15,000 stores.

Else Nutrition stock (TSX:BABY) last traded at C$0.175 per share. The stock has fallen by 73.08 per cent year-over-year.
