A rainy Saturday

Good post PC04. I know we didn't agree in the past much of the time. Hevin, good question about when the vote will be. It isn't clear.

A question for a rainy Saturday on the wet coast. If I am a potential new investor in this newly merged company, why would I invest now? What catalysts are there in the near future that are going to make me want to invest my money in this company? Why would I not just wait it out to see if the merger is fruitful? Neither company is expecting to have a stellar QR (especially NOT Tilray). It looks as if Aphria shareholders are split on the potential effectiveness of the merger. Without anything positive on the horizon of 2021, why would I invest now?........ (Playing the devil's advocate again).

I don't know Vin, maybe we should get Peter Thiel to do another IAMA on Reddit. It's been a while since his last.

Maybe by the time the deal closes the market will realize Canopy is not with 2X to 3X these companies. Once the merger is completed, the new TLRY will sell the most product, have the most profit, US based, billion backed, Bob Marley branded, ties with Budweiser, and Norvaris. Aphria is basically a wholesaler that needs what TLRY has. TLRY could be 30$ plus just to match WEED''s MCap. Just ...more

I exited a huge portion of my position with an average of 10.88$. I was looking to re-enter lower since the entire industry rose on Biden hopes ---similar to the other rallies. Now... I really don't know. I actually bought some back at 10$ because what if he Dems win? TLRY without Aphria already hit a 25 billion MC.. I feel if APHA ever hit 20$ it would be a fire sale for profit taking. The ...more

Hello Vinny.  I believe we exchanged barbs in the past because we enjoyed jabbing at one another...  Actually, I sincerely believe you make good points.  You never miss an opportunity to throw a shot at anyone if you feel you are negatively and unfairly critiqued!  Understood... Devil's advocate it is:    If this merger goes through, Aphria and Tilray will ...more

Nice read thanks for sharing. Any insights into how this deal will ( if at all) impact the results being posted in Jan?
