caution...

the last hole they drilled was dry....left a lot of investors in the hole....this could hurt bad on another dry hole....lots of time to buy on positive news....dont get sucked into this....you can lose a minimum 50 % on your investment at this price....and more if you buy higher.....caution is the word for this story...

Sound like you have no idea about the play. This is not a conventional oil play, it is a shale play that needs fracking (the last hole they drilled). They are just putting all their ducks in a row and we are getting closer to the final stages for a gusher. Do some reading and inform yourself.

"The well, however, intersected a younger section with hydrocarbon shows. This newly identified section indicates the possibility of a thick sedimentary basin with potential source rocks across the Antep area, and appears to be analogous to similar source rock intervals and producing horizons found in northeastern Syria" grinder2, this is far from being a dry well. I don't think you ...more

"The core analysis focussed on analyzing numerous critical components required for a shale oil reservoir. Porosity was calculated at between 2% and 10%, thus proving the shale reservoir’s capability to store hydrocarbons. Permeability of up to 1 millidarcy at reservoir pressure was measured, thus affirming that the shale reservoir has the ability to naturally flow hydrocarbons. The quartz ...more

Analwholia !! - Stop b**sing all this mumbo jumbo.... I see this POS being pumped pretty much on all other bullboards  by pumpers like you. You guys are just making it too obvious !!... There is a reason why this POS is sitting at .08 and the reason is that this is just a spec and nothing else !!... - Till they actually produce something, this is just a spec ...more

The trick is not to hold if you buy say 100k at .09 sell 60k at .15 and keep the rest for a safer play . thats just an example. If the stock stays under .10 for more than 1 more week I would consider an exit. every oil / shale play seems to trade the same, drilling the price goes up consolidates and goes up, Dont let greed get it your way of thinking. When in doubt throw it out I think next week at ...more

Go crawl back in your hole Sam.....We all know winter is not over yet !!
Comment by Anatolia_Run on Feb 02, 2013 7:08pm
That's right, it is a spec play just like many others such as AOI which has a MC of $2 billion. Although I kind of feel a bit safer in Turkey than any country in Africa, or Iraq-Iran-Syria-etc. Plus as I said before, we all know that there is OIL in those hills. Also, nobody really knew about AEE a couple of months ago. When I started buying shares last fall this board was totally dead ...more

YOu dont like high-risk -high reward  then plays like AEE arent for you. You should put your money in a Term deposit and hope the low interest you get keeps up with inflation. Big Volume in AEE the past few weeks, says something good this way comes......it is normally a tell-tale sign. Drillers , neighbors and friends know when good news is happening, despite best efforts to keep things quiet ...more

unclesam you are hilarious. I just checked your profile and your latest posts in addition to the one here are on the CMK and NAU boards. So AEE is too speculative for you but a coal company that can't pay the interest on its debt isn't? Nor is a miner that has lost all control of its costs and has to flood the market with billions of shares, if it is so lucky to get that financing ...more

I don't have much knowledge in the oil industry so maybe someone on this board can educate me ... If I understand correctly this Dadas Shale formation in Turkey could potentialy be the next Bakken story ??? The AEE management team looks like they have great experience in the oil industry but do you think they have what it takes to pull this off ??? The fact that Shell and Exxon are ...more

Just doing some DD and trying to justify why I should park my cash on this stock ... Grinder2,  you sound like your sorry you did'nt get in sooner  ... it's only at 8 cents man, it looks like there could be some major cash to be made here IMHO ...
Comment by grinder2 on Feb 03, 2013 2:52pm
could be....but i sense a whole lot of pain for those buying now..
Comment by Mark101 on Feb 03, 2013 3:00pm
I agree, it is very risky ... but then risk = reward ... I could wait and buy later once oil as been proven but I will pay a good premium for that ...
Comment by moneymaker75 on Feb 03, 2013 3:06pm
grinder you sound like you have a grinder up your bum. You gotta love this small time bashers that use reasons that could apply to ANY stock to try to make AEE look bad. He senses a whole lot of pain for those who buy now. The DOW just hit 14,000 despite economic and debt problems - so anyone who buys any stock at these levels could potentially feel a whole lot of pain. Or they could continue to ...more

i hope that anyone that invests in stocks makes money....its tough enough....i dont think my opinion will influence the price of this stock....only a concerted effort by several cowboys who change their moniker on every stock they pump are capable of that...i have been watching this story for over one year, and still not invested...will wait for news on this drill....if its good i will make money ...more

So hopefully we can all  assume that you won't be posting anymore or until such time that the company releases drilling results.  Please and thank you.
