The Tribunal issues a decision on jurisdiction, liability and directions on quantum; attached to the decision is a partial dissenting opinion by arbitrator Horacio A. Grigera Nan and a partial dissent by arbitrator Philippe Sands.

Horacio Grigera was appointed by the claimant (Eco Oro).   That he issued a partial dissenting opinion suggests to me that this did not go in Eco Oro's favour.   But the other arbitrator, Philippe Sands, was appointed by the defendant and he too issued a partial dissenting opinion.    Baseless speculation here that they ruled against Eco Oro, but issued a ...more

I would not read too much into this news release. It deals with jurisdiction, if I recall Colombia challenged the arbitration boards jurisdiction to hear the case. This snipit may not be about the meat of the claim at all. But, we will hear in time, cannot be too far off if trading is halted.
