Life after Cash Store

I worked for Cash Store for over 4 years, getting laid off was the best thing that happened to me. I was ashamed of the work I did and gained at least 50 pounds. I was a debt collector not a customer service rep. I made minumum wage for most of those 4 years. 

Hats off to those who are sticking around, I hope who ever buys this business will treat it employees better.

Just to be clear.  No company with it's own HO, Collections group, Senior Mgmt team, IT department and infrastructure would ever keep more people than are required to run the company.  The CRO didn't even have the decency to tell the remaining Senior Mgmt team before he released the news.  Good thing he and RTI are getting paid so well.  What's the new ...more

Bill Aziz and company are in business for years making tonnes of money from distressed businesses. Recently, I believe they got a big account to handle, US Steel. Still have no word as to what percentage of branches are being picked and other specifics. Whatever the case, retained or let go, we need to forget about it and move on as we were never in control of this whole process and those ...more

Couldn't agree more 911. You hit it right on the nose. Bill Aziz has always been there for his own personal gain.... Well said.
