Filing Complaint at TSE to the SFSC

Fraudulent market manipulation with regard to trading of HRG on the TSX has been occurring everyday at least since Sept/Oct of 2010 or more likely for a lot longer.  As a result of this blatant manipulation the share price has been more or less constant at about 1.25$ for several month irrespective of the 2nd and 3rd quarter reports which were quite favourable, suggesting net earnings of at least 15c a share.  The p/e is approx 7- 8 as compared to the gold mining industry of around 25+ for junior/ intermediate producing companies.  Thus at 1.25$ the share price has been artificially vastly suppressed through trading between subsiduaries of Severstal,  the majority share holder of HRG. Natural market forces have been totally eliminated,  thus it is difficult to assess what the actual unencumbered share price should be.  Likely it would be at least twice the quoted value of about 1.25 but more likely considerably more due to them running 4 gold mines and having in addition one of the largest silver deposits, Prognoz in eastern Siberia.  I am calling for info and better yet action to be taken to report fraudulent trading by Severstal.  Who can help / initiate reporting them to the SFSC?  We are all in this together, no?
My 2 cents worth,  Wolfgang E

Wolfgang, I have pasted a couple of emails I had sent to the OSC back in April below. The link is to my post of the OSC's response. I and a number of others have raised our concerns many times over the last couple of years with absolutely no action by the OSC. Please feel free to email them too, as the more emails they get the more serious they may take us. ThyFish https://www ...more

In my opinion, there is basically nothing we can do to prevent Severstal from manipulating the pps.  Us minority shareholders just have to wait and see how this plays out.  Will there be an IPO?  Most likely, perhaps late first quarter.  Why are they keeping pps down?  Many theories have been mentioned.  Why not another theory.  Severstal knows this company is ...more

What a disgrace! And it’s taking place in Canada. If OSC couldn’t care less then maybe there is another legal way to question OSC’s inaction. I believe we as taxpayers have some rights and ability to audit Government entities which don’t do their job properly. Any thoughts?!

Who are we trying to fool here? WE ARE THE SMALL FRY !!! Every attempt at being heard has fallen on deaf ears and apparently continuing to do so. The Russians have woken up from a deep many year slumber, faced capitalism, embraced it and have taken it to new all time lows. If there's one thing that America has taught the world is good ol' American greed and it looks like others can play ...more
