A buyer knows that LNV has $120 million of debt on  barely 6000 boe/d production. The drilling inventory is really spread out: west central Alberta, the small heavy oil play at Lashburn and the ...more

Don't forget AAV took all cash. Not the norm most offers are shares and cash. Next who wants to buy half a company. Don't forget AAV got 10 dollars a share for the other 55%. Next the market ...more

Based on that rationale AAV got fleeced. Then again supposedly they had been pedalling their 45% position in LNV since last fall. If the market was so robust no takers wanted their position at $80 k ...more

Just look at RPL. Granted, they are higher oil weighted. But if you reduce your valuation a bit compared to RPL you still get a really nice number that most of us would be very happy with.. And RPL ...more

  With a 19% decline rate and RLI of about 15 years. It would be stealing getting this under 6 dollars a share. Most of the sales of late have gone for around 80,000 per flowing for light oil ...more

So LNV has 47 million shares out. 9.3 million or 19.8% is owned by the mysterious suitor. 11.84 million shares are owned by the syndicate of underwriters: RBC, First Energy etc that underwrote the AAV ...more
