RE:RE:RE:Hello I used to work at one of the 3rd party firms (Broadridge) on Long Island that handles all sorts of corporate votes. It is handled via their website proxyvote.com. We actually checked the software hourly to ensure it was tabulating correctly. I can assure you that if the press release indicated 76% voted yes the numbers are accurate.
I knew the vote would probably be somewhere near 70% or just enough to squeeze by. Often times these sort of votes go 90% or higher, so there was a sizable contingent that did make their voices heard.
