Bendon

...i re lsitened to the TG meeting. Young said the  Bendon  situation has been  " Rocky", but feels it will be resolved via toll Milling payments to bendon... Thats the word i couldnt remember. And he also said ' few months" it would take to handle it... he said when Tg steps into Ole's shoes as an Official  Third Party, then they could egt Senegal Involved. He also said the legality Bendon  brings up that  Tg cant become an "Operator"  can also be resolved.... well it just sounds like Ole  will soon reccomend to  approve the Deal by (us) shareholders via tendering..............  next week and up to the 31st,  should be interesting

Hey GF I also just re listened to the call.  It sounds generally positive and TGZ feels that they wll make this happen.  They have dramatically cut costs and are increasing their cash.  What they did this morning gives them more flexibility to pay Bendon cash for a huge portion of their stake.  It would be interesting to see their cash balance as of today. It will ...more

thanks Tony... lets see what happens next week.... TG did comment today about the Offer's premium at like 50%.... but industry analysts said it was " light"... so maybe they have been talking already and jsut waiting for the TG shareholder Offer Share Resolution to become official, which it did today.... maybe Chet comes out publicly w/ a Counter, or maybe TG announces their agreed ...more

Goldfather Hi Bro You got it wrong amigo. The comment was they actually were told they paid too much premium Grandich is right, it's TGZ or OLE shareholders are screwed. Never thought I say that but now that much of the cat is out of the bag the last two years worth, Chet gambled and lost. Rememberh is *****y statements throwing TGZ under the bus? Now the bus has rolled over him.

Hey Parks. Glad to see you posting again.  As you know TGZ did approve the issuance of stock to buy public OLE at the meeting today.  They are serious and as far as they are concerned they are just waiting for OLE to agree on the offer.  They did say on the call today that some TGZ shareholders thought they were a high on the offer but then again they are not going to say they were ...more

Counter offer?  How can that happen?  Is this like your gold price calls for the last 9 months?  OLE has no leverage here that I can see to negotiate anything.  TGZ and Iamgold already have a big chunk of the shares commmitted, Grandich's millions and lots of us little guys are committed. What's to negotiate?  If the tender fails we are holding a bag of crap that ...more

Comet... cant say i disagree. BUT after all these years of having nothing to do but count his Money, I was thinking he had soemthing in his back pocket,or a Plan B.,,,... maybe delivering Bendon sooner  vs later may get us a bump in the conversion percentage

That's the sad part Goldfather.  He had no plan - just borrow money and pray.  That's not a business plan.  I seriously doubt he could have turned this into a mine even if the market had just stayed flat for the last couple years instead of crashing.    Management is the #1 factor for investing in juniors.  I bought this based on the resource before that ...more
