A tale of two countries

A tale of two countries
Talk about a divergence. Another literal blowout jobs number Stateside while we basically serve up a nothing burger here although see a fairly good uptick in unemployment. Not entirely sure how the market(s) will react. I should think the strong number in the U.S. ultimately bodes well there however the perception of pressure to hold rates will increase. All the while we have quite the opposite here. I can hear the calls for cuts getting quite loud here. Will Macklin cave as early as next week? If I had to guess I will say no but I would be very surprised they don't indicate cuts are imminent as in next meeting at the latest.

So interesting dilemma. Which economy would you prefer? Hands down the stronger U.S. one in my opinion for obvious reasons. Granted I don't think the reit sector flurishes off the stronger report, not entirely sure how well we do off the weaker on either but will see soon.
