I have become greedy and told him I need $5 to break even. I am actually up $150000 on BTE as of today beyond what I owe my Father. I am going to let it ride and sell at $6 given recent circumstances and then pay him back the $150000 I owe him. If it hits $5 and dips right away back down to $3 it doesn't really count as I will not have cashed out and my gambling for it to go past $5 will have backfired. I am really risking it and rolling the dice here as $3 before $5 is still on the table. $70 oil means BTE goes back to $2.99. Probably need $110 oil for 6 bucks a share because of terrible hedges in 2022. My dream would be to cash out half my shares at $6 this Summer, pay my Father back and keep half my shares and let it ride margin free.
It does scare me that everyone is already counting their chickens, things can turn so fast. Also, oil is at a really high price and it won't stay there forever.
