Firing the CEO because investors occassionally overvalue stocks means a lot of people would be walking with one time CEO experience. JMO PI01

Firing the CEO for poor performance ,like failed execution on expansion projects , constant impairments and a string of losses, is common place .. Profits are the Life Blood for companies and being Woke leads eventually to going Broke.  CAS should also look at the incompetent directors and the Nepotism in this organization  as being equally responsible for this company's failings ...more

I'm not going to comment about why CEOs get fired, but this is more of a Board of director's failure than a CEO failure. The CEO is not the person who decides the company is going to carry that amount of debt , 3.8 x and, not the person who decides to keep the tissue division when multiple analysts have said disposition of the division makes sense. Well like the rest  of us , you are entitled to your own opinion. Any company that consider's their CEO to be just another employee is destined to failure.
