RE:SP plummet

RE:SP plummet

What is going on with dramatic sp drop? Sure. new variant causing fear but does this alone explain sp massacre?

To me it looks like it lowered the account balance in the cash accounts, in the margin accounts I ran out of buying power so I needed to manage my account holdings which I prefer to letting the broker manage the holdings (I'm not even sure that should be allowed). The need to manage the holdings wasn't only because of the current exchange listed share price of Corus was lower, the Canadian dollar has gone down in value and the exchange listed share prices of some other holdings was lower than last week also. I chose not to sell Corus and sold a couple utilitiy stocks to capture some capital gains, moved a few shares to the cash account, and then moved a few other shares to the margin account a little later to keep my buying power positive. I can't say why other market participants are selling.

Share price is not massacred, not dead. Still trading and down 2 cents as I type.
