RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Short Shares Increased by 17% in MayFirst, I'm never offended when the argument is put forth intelligently.   At some point Cxr management has to accept an offer that the major shareholders will accept.  If your price is $80 and the only way out is a buyout at 70 then you will take the loss rather than muddle in the 30s for another year.  Unfortunate but true that even with the buyout many will lose but will be in better shape than letting the market dictate SP based on propeganda and bull.  I couldn't guess a price but I have a feeling it's low. I don't know about leaks but In a company of 51 million tightly held shares any major buying will shoot up the price and raise suspicions activity alarms. The options market yesterday was very active and gave some subtle bullish signals.  As for your theory of a price collapse, that's one of the reasons that Cxr has to eventually settle for an offer. They cant keep fluctuating 30% up and down every two weeks. That's what's piling on the shorts as its a sign of an unstable company.  I've been calling for this buyout a month before it was announced, check my previous posts from late March.
I think after the long weekend to try to muster up the max price or another bidder but I'm venturing educated guesses here.
Also it's been very tight lipped because I think that the major shorters lately have been suitors that tried to low ball Cxr.  MT wants his day in payback court I imagine.

Actually the fact that Cxr traded lower today when the whole sector and the markets were up is an even bigger indication to me that the end is near.  Insider traders are very smart and will bring down the price just before the takeover announcement in many scenarios.

Ive been wrong with the timing of this event, but I strongly believe that it's inevitable, and as of today time is Cxrs biggest enemy.
