I have written to MANAGEMENT (Sbastien Mailhot - David Montpetit - Robert Desautels - Yannick Gemme - Stphane Vidal - Steve Li) as per the November 19, 2021 e-mail below, essentially asking them to stimulate the share price, by all means.

It is unacceptable for a company founded in 1998, having such many partnerships not to be able to either be bought out or privatized when its shares are trading at a ridiculous price of $0.11.  They should at least be serious and roll back shares on a ratio of 1 for 10, therefore having a share price trading above $1.00.  I hope some of you are able to read "french".  I urge you to express as well your concerns to MANAGEMENT.  All of them can be reached by e-mail at the "first letter of their first name" along with their full "last name"@d-box.com.  Example: Steve Li is [e-mail]

Bonjour messieurs,

 

Je suis un actionnaire minoritaire de l'entreprise depuis environ 10 annes.

 

Je n'ai jamais compris comment une entreprise fonde en 1998 peut survivre un cours boursier aussi pitoyable que 0,11 $/l'action.

 

QU'ATTENDEZ-VOUS pour procder une consolidation des actions, tout le moins d'un ratio de 1 : 10, ce qui rsulterait en un flottant d'actions ("float of shares") de 222,798,014 approximativement 22 million d'actions (TSX : DBO)?  Cette mesure indispensable permettrait d'liminer le niveau de spculation beaucoup trop lev d'actionnaires se livrant du "day trading" ("transactions du jour") pour faire place des investisseurs srieux et un cours boursier d'une valeur suprieure 1,00 $, faute de quoi, tout financement, le cas chant, requis pour D-Box, se verrait possiblement compromis.

 

L'entreprise fait tat d'un historique invraisemblable de "partenariats" lesquels en bout de ligne, ne se traduisent par aucun profit enregistr sur une base constante.

• D-BOX a ouvert son premier auditorium complet avec Maya Cinemas au nord de Las Vegas en janvier 2019.
• Les systmes de mouvement D-BOX sont prsents dans plus de 700 crans dans 41 pays. Le premier long mtrage avoir t encod avec D-BOX tait Fast & Furious sorti le 3 avril 2009 au TCL Chinese Theatre, sur Hollywood Boulevard Los Angeles. ce jour, plus de 1 800 titres sont cods dans D-BOX.
• D-BOX collabore avec de nombreux exposants de films travers le monde, tels que:

Comment, au fil des annes, D-BOX n'a-t-elle oser se mettre vendre, sachant qu'elle ne peut crer de la valeur pour ses actionnaires?

Un actionnaire faisais part du commentaire ci-dessous suite au Webinar tenu le 17 novembre 2021.

 

Interesting webinar, they say that there would be 3 partnership press release until year end.

In my opinion, there is too many businesses inside this company , I would seperate the theatrical segment and merge the others segments with another major partner like Ubisoft.

Je ne doute pas de la bonne foi de la direction de l'entreprise vouloir amliorer sa vocation, mais il y a tout de mme une limite ne pas tre en mesure d'tre rentable aprs tant d'annes et ne rien faire en maintenant l'action en Bourse un prix aussi drisoire.

 

J'espre que chacun d'entre-vous avez la conscience de remdier cette situation dans les plus brefs dlais.

Interesting comment and I do agree. One problem i see is that the management barely holds 1% of the shares , that means that there is more at stake for their jobs than for their shares. Since the founder McMaster is not holding more than 10% they should have more options to reorganize the company. Sebastien Mailhot come from the venture capital field and  should know how to create value. I

Don't understand shareholders about D-Box being bought by a big one.  I expect a lot of this stock and if tomorrow a buy anounced ,  it will not bring this at a fortune for shareholders.   The best case senario is new home products and suscriptions related bring a lot of revenu and blow the ebitda next years, then we'll see dollar for DBO. I still hodl :-)

D-BOX still a leader in the haptic world , but they cover many industries so that are partly relevant for some of the big players like CAE, Ryan Aerospace, Cooler Master, Ubisoft. The market cap is only 25 M$ and worth a minimum of 50 M$ to 100 M$. Like you have seen in the last statements licence revenue reached 1M$ with margin of 90% , the theatrical side worth 50 M$ alone. IMAO.

Remember that the company was trading at 0.65$ in 2015 and far less intersesting that it  is now . Post covid you should expect a 1$.
