My Thinking was That Many CDNs LIKELY Will Have BOTH__Keep the OLD Gas Burner For the WINTERS when EV Battery Range IS CUT in HALF or MORE the Colder it Gets__ALSO Their Summer ROAD Trips WOULD be BETTER Served with Their OLDIE gas burner.

If we're willing to pay to keep them well-maintained, and if the government doesn't pass a law limiting gasoline sales, you may be right. Much as I'd like my current Canadian-made Civic to be the last car purchase I ever make, the engineer in me wants to see hydrogen-powered vehicles surpass EVs.
