GH flies under the radar but if we looked at say the old gang of insiders at Great Canadian Gaming, getting massive annual options packages for producing below-average results, you can see the NCIB tax starts to sting a little. I forget what their buybacks looked like but it might have been $50mm to $100mm each year. Slap a 2% tax on that and it starts to add up. Yes, that tax of $1mm to $2mm could have paid quite a few salaries of valuable front-line employees on the old GC war ship.
