Still undecided. 
In the past I have favoured lower priced shares,
possible better % gain..

Recently went through consolidation with VIT (VGCX now), different circumstances, however, good management following through with a plan step by step is similar to JAG. Adding to VIT before consolidation worked out for me then. I favour the cheaper shares and added today. Seems like there was an attempt at a falling gold price fear campaign over the last few days. I hate it when a stock consolidates. I only say that though because everytime I have had a stock that did that they did it in the attempt to stop a falling price.  In the end it never works. This is a different situation.  JAG has alot of shares out there.  Probably too many.  But if the price of gold continues to go up the average never invested gold investor would see a ...more

They obviously have incredible momentum right now, so you are correct - this is a different situation: they are coming off a dramatic all in cost decrease, cash flow is obviously improved and a impressive turnaround in sp.  They seem to be doing anything they can to stop the manipulation - share buy back was the first step and now the consolidation is another strategy.  Sprott's ...more

Great posts digrdan and Liked2Think. Like every Gold Bull in the past, this one will come to an end as well one day. At that time, it may be better to park your money somewhere else to increase growth potential. Having said that, I feel this one is not over, and may still be just getting started. Guys, consolidation is not always bad.  for one example look at MTA. It's was 1.5 dollar stock. It did consolidation 4 for 1 and is now a 12 dollar stock.  it doesn't matter what the dollar value is.
