Conflict between Laurentian and National

Conflict between Laurentian and NationalThis article appeared in "La Presse" on June 5, 2021. Laurentian alleges that National enticed seven key emplyees from one of Laurentian branches. All of these employees operated in the investment sector. https://www.lapresse.ca/affaires/2021-06-05/courtage-en-valeurs-mobilieres/bisbille-entre-la-laurentienne-et-la-nationale.php

There are two ways to look at this. One is  that Laurentian is vulnerable to raids from its competitors. The other is that Laurentian has something that its competitors find worthwhile. Now that Laurentian's emplyees are no longer represented by a union, LB is a conceivable target of a takeover. If Its competitors want what Laurention possesses, they may be tempted to make a bid for it.
