Why should Pyro give up their IP and let somebody use it to benefit at he expense of Pyro shareholders.

Pyro developed the IP and will use it to make profit for the Pyro shareholders. Short term pain and long term gains.

What I think was that the General Contractor for this project thought that they could steal the IP and sell the product throught out USA. Nice try the General Contractor. Peter gave them the boot!

Its like asking Apple or Google give their IP for all to use make phones and web search.
