FYI - FOOD FOR THOUGHT ???

Alcoa and the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) formed a joint venture in 2009 that has created the world’s largest, lowest cost fully integrated aluminum facility. The project includes a bauxite mine situated in central Saudi Arabia, which connects by rail to an integrated facility consisting of an alumina refinery, smelter, and casthouse on the Arabian Gulf coast.

First hot metal was poured in December 2012, and in 2015 the smelter reached full capacity, producing 740,000 mtpy of aluminum.

Bauxite ore from the 4-million-mtpy bauxite mine is refined in the 1.8-million-mtpy alumina refinery, which is designed for expansion and became operational in 2014.

The joint venture also had included a rolling mill, with initial hot mill capacity of 380,000 mtpy.  In June 2019, Alcoa amended the joint venture agreement and transferred its 25.1 percent share of the rolling mill to Ma’aden.

In addition to your inability to acknowledge your errors in interpreting factual posts, we can add your failure to acknowledge a source directly lifted from the Alcoa website, and one that is tangentially related to this topic at best.

Ok-I think I have it Harjay-but keep talking.... Inability to acknowledge errors(often to maintain a facade of always being right) ,taking credit for others work, sarcasm as a weak effort to be superior. Riddle me that? Narcissism LOL indeed

Tangentially related? You're being generous.  I see no connection at all. Maybe someone here can enlighten us as to what this has to do with PyroGenesis while it gasps for air in its death throes. Not a rhetorical question or a sarcastic comment at all. Please, someone, WTF does Harjay's post have to do with PyroGenesis?? The pumpers here are pro's at posting information or ...more

Radian Oil and Gas Services contracted for Drosrite systems where as of May 2024 three systems were being used at Ma'aden for a joint venture between Alcoa and a Saudi firm. Ok, in terms of food for thought, can you provide us yours on why so much of accounts receivable is outstanding?  Who is not paying up?  Somehow it sounds incredible that the world's largest, lowest cost ...more

Unless they arent serving them well.  When Acoounts receivable arent received, is it because the customer isnt accepting the product? IMO, fwiw, not investment advice

Keep in mind that PyroGenesis was recently in Saudi Arabia to attend the ARABAL 2023 Aluminum Conference.  PYR had 2 of their Directors from their Aluminum Division attend.  Here at ARABAL PYR showcased a revolutionary technology that is reshaping the landscape of aluminum production, refining, and recycling.  PYR's team proudly stood next to an aluminum Sow-Ingot ...more

Thank you BCONT The ceo will be on the business trip between 5th an 15th where he needs a visa as far as known.  Weekends in the Arabian world are on Fridays and Saturdays.  Could fit perfectly.

Saudis are very keen on protocol and several meetings are required before they sign any agreement. Most companies are hierarchically vertical and decision-making is concentrated at the top level of the organization hence the reason for Peter's presence.Great things are to be expected from this trip.

So basically it is Radian owing PYR money for the systems delivered to the alliance? with 4 other systems waiting to be delivered and the alliance keen to use them but Radian not paying up, why doesn't PYR deliver the units directly to the joint venture and get paid for them?  Would Radian cry breach of contract while they have not paid amounts due to PYR on the previously delivered ...more
