RE:Re:re: Is It A Buy

RE:Re:re: Is It A BuySo when the Nasdaq goes down Shop goes down. When the Nasdaq goes up Shop goes down. Does that pretty much sum it up? Even Lightpspeed is up and we are down. My only explanatiion is that insiders - institutions, already know that earnings next week will be below forecast. If you think about it, earnings last quarter were above forecast, but Amy - CFO- said not to expect growth at the same pace as during the pandemic.  Well since then the stock is off 50% and 75% from its high.

Usually a 75% correction even for a growth company is pretty significant. But not for Shop they just keep going down. Did I  mmiss the news report that there was a fraud or their business is no longer viable?. Did I miss the news report that small and medium businesses no longer use the internet?

This is ridiculous. There must be some value in this company. Yes I would agree that Shop at $2,200 was too high but $580 seems like enoug of a haircut, don't you think?
On another note, I do not recall analysts saying the stock was too high at $2,200.00. During that time period there was NO revaluation of the stock. However now that we are down 75%, most analysts have reduced their share price forecast.
OK I am done complaining
