Are we expecting the next dividend announcement on Monday?
Are we expecting that the dividend will be raised? Is Monday the day we have a new level of dividends for WCP?
I think that might be the reason that WCP did so well on Friday. Looking forward to Monday.

Although they have been clear in next years expected dividends if you do a back of the envelope estimate of the additional cash flow brought on by the new wells and the steady state of "around 90 dollar oil" and strong gas prices- a special dividend would attract further outside interest. YES, I expect a dividend increase to be announced on Tuesday the 15th, record Nov 30, ex-dividend Nov 29, payable Dec 15. No way Pierre. November dividend will remain @ 0.0367  payable in December. We need to get debt to 1.8 billion before the next bump. That said, in 9 months, when the NCIB goes into 'beast mode' WCP shareholders will be rewarded. jmho

As much as I would love to hear an anouncement today or this week, I don't think we are there yet. When WCP hits the 1.8 bil debt mark I have all the faith in the world they will increase divs. I would expect at that point we will be upped to between 4 and 5 cents per share monthly (likely closer to 5). I think it's announced in December. So I am in the middle. If I am right it's not smart they said December.   So given management is usually , always ,   under promises and over delivers.
