The last guy was financially reckless.  The indebtedness is almost a billion Canadian.  debt to EBIDTA is an eyewatering 9:1 - 

It's now 11 months until the debentures come due.  Tick tock..................  How much is Fine Capital going to backstop this company?

Net debt is $420mm, which is only 4.2x EBITDA.   Still high and needs to be dealt with in this high interest rate environment.  The ex-CEO was totally reckless and the BOD let him overspend and lose focus on the financial risks facing the company.   If they are successful in selling some IP then the debenture is not an issue.   Stock is trading at 1/3 of the ...more

Hope you are correct - I really don't want stock in lieu of cash on redemption.  Hope the new guy can rein in the spending and production budgets. Why is Fine capital so enamoured with this company?

I wish Fine Capital was not so involved with this company...they are the worst maoney manager on WS and they stood by and did nothing while the ex-CEO spent this company to the edge of bankruptcy.  The clock is ticking on the convertible and the BOD is completely asleep at the wheel again...this again is all on Fine Capital as they have defacto control the company.
