Andrew Uerkwitz is no slouch...he is one of Oppenheimer Inc's senior analysts, specializing in up- and-coming tech. It is a bit of a coup just to be able to mention Pat and Uerkwitz in the same breath.
Oppenheimer is a major NYC brokerage- 3500 employees managing $25 billion in assets.
To put it mildy, this is a step up from the usual Kip Herriage fluff piece.
Against my better judgment, I think tomorrow may actually be a big day for Pat. My bet is the CEO is announced, some sales numbers are released and maybe even a new partnership with a big player gets announced.
I'm normally the first to eye roll at yet another Pat partnership, but if it's done in conjuction with sales numbers and a dynamic new CEO...gold, Jerry.

And no, I don't think the new CEO should be doing the conference instead of Cronin. If he is an outside hire, that is. Perfect forum to announce the hand-off though...maybe a few words and some background from the new guy?
If I've jinxed it, and this video conference is the same old tired blather from Cronin, you have my permission to hurl insults at me- I'll deserve it.
