Shai's passion, expertise and dedication to strategic growth will be of great value to Zenabis.

Van de Put, CEO of Mondelez, were both working at McCain's in 2014. Could Mondelez link with Zenabis? Possibilty cannot be ignored...  https://www.agcanada.com/daily/wrigley-exec-to-lead-mccains-in-canada

WOW!...I'm sure you can link different people to many others but I just didn't realize the possibilties. Maybe there's a connection to Elon and Elon is going to set up a disensary on Mars (what's actually going up in the BFR in 2024) . So much insane posting going on that this actually seems believable.

Both Van de Put and Altman were in the upper management at McCain. Now both are CEO at their own company, and they're not going to talk to each other because?? Sure, let's all be rational and ignore that link...

sorry Zaybure but if you could please indicate better if you are joking or serious...I just don't know if I should be laughing with you or at you. Thanks

I'm not sure how to answer you. I just raised a possibility: the link between Altman and Van de Put, both working at the upper management of McCain, and you bring up Elon and Mars???  It's not unreasonable to "speculate" that Altman, Ceo of Zennabis, and Van de Put, Ceo of Mondolez, were to help each other if that could turn out to be beneficial to both parties. Altman was never terminated at McCain. That would have been all over the media, had this taken place.

Altman was never terminated at McCain. That would have been all over the media, had this taken place. Oh? Well - just a rumour started by dummyboy then, but generally nasty breakups are kept pretty quiet with severance pay and confidentiality agreements and all. Most larger companies choose just to pay someone out than outright fire them for PR and image and bad press reasons.  Anyway ...more

It's a possibility, but that would not square with Altman being nominated as CEO of Zennabis. If Altman screwed up at McCain, the word would have been around, and people in upper management would certainly know that much.

okay - maybe just a rumour started by dummyboy then, I don't know and and he posts a lot of wacky stuff. But to me, you're either terminated - for cause or not - or you resign. I doubt that he resigned without having another senior postion to go to - and the fact that the incompetent Board at Zena hired doesn't necessarily mean that he's the superstar golden boy that some on thit ...more

The only way this will be settled is for Zena to perform well after Altman takes over in September. The future will tell...

Mondelez/Zenabis would be interesting. You are right, Zaybure, Van de Put and Altman do know each other. From your link, “Shai’s passion, expertise in and dedication to strategic growth will be of great value to McCain,” McCain CEO Dirk Van de Put said in the company’s release. Mondelez/Zenabis makes sense. Shai Altman's golfing buddy, Mondelez CEO Van de Put, is on the record saying Mondelez is eyeing CBD: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/01/cannabis-fans-may-get-wish-as-oreo-maker-mondelez-eyes-cbd-snacks.html
