Totally agree with you Tannin. Running the options out to 2025 is another smart move by Larry. The fact of the matter is that there is a very limited supply of the type of talent that can drive these types of technology companies forward. So imagine that you are one of the top talents in the world : do you want to work for a major established company that will match your 4% contributions with company stock to your pension and also a higher salary than ARHT or would you prefer to work somehwere where you have lots of options that you can exercise at .30 for a stock that could be trading at who knows where...but , if Arht executes then ten bucks by 2025 is not out of the question at all. You would be one very rich scientist or engineer.
I bet you that Intel wished that they had the kind of talent that is over at AMD or NVDA now. Look what the top talent at APPL did for the company. The type of talent that can make ART one of the dominant players in AR is extremely rare and can only be retained with extremely generous option packages.
