RE: Have we missed something?

RE: Have we missed something?

It is getting busier, poise, and that's for sure. An oilfield buddy came up from the USA through Cardston and said the Murphy well was flaring it's production test with about a "60 foot lazy, wide, rolling orange flare" out of the top of a hellish tall flare stack. This well is in Range 25 and within sight of Cardston to the South of the well, and another rig drilling a few miles to the north of the well on test. Interesting to note that this activity is a few miles to the West of LEG/BWD Spring Coulee well. Buddy quizzed a native at a service station in Standoff and was told that Murphy had a well about 8 miles E/SE of Standoff with a wellhead on and valves chained shut. I'm not sure of Murphy business there so it's not clear to me of the status but maybe it's one yet to be tested. Nice to see Murphy being agressive with their drilling program and also interesting to see the placement of the wells that were just issued licenses as your post shows.

All things considered, I'm wondering if Murphy had a more agressive and effective frac program than Legacy? I"m also hopeful that Legacy has a handle on what is best suited to frac the next wells in their program. Time will tell
