They're going to keep punishing us.

This won't stop until it becomes unbelievably cheap, or we get results. And I won't give a target as to what cheap means. Nobody wants to know that. At this point results won't make a difference unless they're awesome. We're past that now. Only the strategic will stop this. And if that for some reason isnt perceived as favourable, we will be screwed. I think if mark doesn't release strategic news by the beginning of March, we will hear that the loan is being extended and then everyone including myself will witness what cheap means.

Well said.  I would add IMO if regular consistent assays were being released things may be different but they weren't.  I have never seen this much drilling and so few assays reeleased - ever. It's all very odd.  Until there's a deal there's not a deal.  Simple as that.

It's pretty clear the Bears and Short Sellers Own this one. I got out on Friday because I set an emotional red line at 2.90. We keep breaking through key support levels - 3.50-3.20-3.00. It broke through 2.90.  CIBC Investors Edge flagged a Diamond top with a price target of $1.60-2.00. Given the accuracy of the previous bearish patterns (Top Triangle $1.90-2.20, confirmed at 2.18) and ...more

Can't argue with you on any of that pcguy

Fair enough but the markets have tanked for 6 weeks now and macro global events are tainting every stock. Our short levels are near all time lows so it's nothing that won't get cleaned up on the first strong up day. If you can stomach being on the sidelines then power to you. Way too much upside for me with news so long overdue.

EndZonefor7, as they say "To each their own" and "It's your money". If you can stomach the risk and volitility than all the power to you.  Watching this rise to an intra day high of 4.50, then bounce around then sink to 2.18, slowly recover to 3.90, then roll over and sink through 2.90 after a self imposed deadline was missed, is way too much risk and too little ...more

All fair criticisms PCguy and you're more than in the right to sit back and watch it. Junior stocks are hard to ride out sometimes.  I was looking at a series of gold and copper stock charts this morning on a one year window and they didn't perform much better better than CNC. Covid defintiely has had an effect on the entire mining bizz while most of the market has chased the tech ...more

But don't forget, gold is high and we're creaping into inflation which I wish would go away. So that's reason for optimism and who knows? They could announce a fruitfull partnership that will keep them going. But I have a question. What can we expect in stock price once a partner is announced? Will it have a major affect on share price or will it be moderate?
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Feb 14, 2022 4:33pm
Entirely depends on the terms of the partnership. Glencore willing to finance everything for a 10% cut = share price to the moon. Auramet extending a larger loan at 20% interest = continued spiraling into the dirt. Something in between = something in between.

I think it will depend on who the partner is. Options I can THINK of are: 1) Great partner (Mining major/EV company): we should see a bump - it would validate the project that the major players are in on the Ultramafic low grade story. It will also enhance all future drilling news giving it Credibility. I will include a really well known financial company like Black Rock here; or an ...more
