A hostile takeover is an example of a situation where insiders may be unaware of a pending takeover...

This can be done in a number of ways, including:

Issue a tender offer
Employ a proxy fight
Attempt to buy the necessary company stock in the open market

As we've all noticed, since last summer, DM's shares have mostly been kept under 0.20, despite good news accumulating - during which time walls of millions of shares have been set in the 0.19/0.20 range.

This is pure speculation but a possibility - which I wouldn't be fond of, unless it offered a premium of $2.50+
