Remove firearms and what is the Us Rate and what is their 2nd method? Those same people will find a way without firearms. Maybe run down the sidewalk with a van... firearmsare not the problem, it's the culture of violence in general.

While looking at the ranking of homicide methods in Japan don't forget that their total murder rate in 2021 was 0.26 per 100,000. The 6th lowest in the world. In the USA it was 4.96 per 100,000 or 19 times higher. Although the Japanese might choose to use a knife very very few of them are making alternate use if their steak knives. I would say your reference to Japan is bogus!
