Talk sense.!!!
Right on. And a lot of the Province of B.C. can get its share of deep cold as well when Mother Nature decides its time. Maybe not so much in the last 20 years but don't believe it won't come back. I've lived in it for 83 years and went through it all. A lot of ups and a lot of downs temperature wise and snow wise. You cannot convince me that it is all warm from here on.
Starting my cars in -30, lighting oilsoaked rags under our heavy equipment diesel engines to warm them up. A 12 volt car battery is a lot different than the size of these new ones. It's nice to see just what problems pop up with a bout of foul weather. It's not all peaches and cream.
I even remember when they developed "The Peoples Car" - the Volkswagen Beetle. Owned a 1958 model which did not have a heater. There were vents (slots) in the floor board that was supposed to bring in heat from the exhaust pipe. Had some cold rides in that buggy. Innovation is great but it does not happen in a short time.
