Hey gang..... assuming we get a good finance deal arrangement here in August sometime ( per TM's another 60 day promise in late June).... what are board thoughts here when the refinery construction  starts ?  Thanks .

I would think it would

Whoops, let's try that again. I think Trent will move the construction along as rapidly as possible, but the results of the geo study and foundation plans have to submitted for approval so again, some things are out of his control.
Comment by Silverad0 on Aug 04, 2021 9:02am
I agree with the rapidly as possible part but a few points from this old construction manager.  Soils studies dont take long to do including the report.  Structural design dosnt take long to do for a basic industrial steel frame building like the one in the FCC promo photos including a much larger building.  Its the process side that takes the time.  If time is really of the ...more

Valuable insight shared, Silverad0. Thank you. Trent Mell, where are we today?

Many months ago I started saying we should be watching for a Take Over Offer. I have been saying for a while, they are dressing the Bride up for the best offer. Financing discussions are taking a long time, and it may be because they are trying to find a buyer on the side.  Small time investors like us may be SOL when the higher ups make tons of coin from a sale.   Basically, they ...more

Let's all ditto these calls on Mell, to tell us what's going on ! ....Mr Mell :  we deserve a  (sincere) explanation on the Financing completion . Spare the nickel,  battery recycle, black mass etc info. Specifically the financing time- frame .  Thank you. / FC shareholders.
Comment by Starkicker on Aug 04, 2021 10:25am
I can't help but wonder if the financers aren't a little nervous about the long-term viability of a linear cobalt investment so want to see nickel, black mass, battery recycling, etc. worked into a larger overall long-term revenue picture, hence the delay.
Comment by NatureBoy on Aug 04, 2021 10:27am
Agreed, Goldfather! Trent Mell... hear us and respond. Specifically what is the status of the financing arrangements and realistic time frame? No evasion or deflection to other issues. This has become exhausting to the point of serious concern. Not a "flipper" here, so I need answers now about the long term prospects and strategy.
Comment by Goatburner on Aug 07, 2021 2:09am
Good morning . I just wanted to comment on the frustration I see from many posters regarding the delay in financing. Even to the point where they are demanding an explanation from the CEO. Trent Mell was asked the question about financing and the interviewer from proactive investing noted the previously stated date, end of Q2 has already come and gone. Trent responded by saying - mea culpa. Latin ...more

Good Points - Thanks Goat...I still have to check that interview out..
Comment by Goldfather on Aug 11, 2021 8:56am
It's August 11 - - that's 42 days past end of Q2. And let's be honest .... when they said by Q2------ that's not really supposed to be the ( very last day of Q2) ....Sure hope Mell can get a Finance completion announcement  out , as nothing happens w/o a good financing arrangement. Nothing ! ..... no recycling plant, no nickel refinery, no black mass business etc etc . Yes ...more

Ditto that Goldfather.  What say you Trent Mell???????????
Comment by Goldfather on Aug 11, 2021 12:45pm
guy at Yahoo board saying finance deal is waiting for permits on water and sewage. Not sure if he's a Troll , as not many there agree. Anyone here have insight on permits to get financing ? Thanks
Comment by Jordsword on Aug 11, 2021 7:58pm
I think he is right about the permits. Put yourself in the place of a lender. You have never financed the expansion of a cobalt refinery before and all the necessary permits are not in place. High risk of them defaulting on the loan if there is a permitting problem. Not a wise business decision and probably outside of their normal due diligence parameters to make that loan. With permits in hand ...more

With the Governments in for $10M i doubt permits will be much of a problem.
Comment by Silverad0 on Aug 12, 2021 5:55am
Is there any sign of life at the Refinery?  Has anyone or will someone take a drive by and have a look?
Comment by Silverad0 on Aug 04, 2021 12:08pm
Unfortunatly the push towards EV's is not a simple money maker like legalisation of pot was.  While I am sure we are headed towards EV's, its not cut and dried like the greens would have us beleive.  Also to add further complication we have an election that is around the corner and uncertainty over battery composition and an electrical grid that cant handle neighborhoods of home ...more

Any news to share?  It seems things are happening in the battery sector except with FCC.  What is going on?
