In the meantime

I would encourage all the longs to read the judgement over the weekend.
There is a lot of good info in there.
Hope everyone can enjoy the weekend regardless. Living life is far more important than a silly stock.

P.S. Did anyone watch the hockey game? Now that was a great game!

Best post yet Tyler... That was a great game...not an Oiler fan but they're Canadian so am cheering for them..34 years so the Americans can be proud...

Not hopium but a reasonable assumption.   Money is not the main problem here . Voya will give the green light after the sage ranch get the water and is secure.   And if you read the judgment you should know that the four cause of action is the game right now .  “Upon resolution of the fourth cause of action, a judgment shall be issued in favor of the district and against ...more

I don't believe the fourth cause of action may be as relevent after having the first three found in the District's favour. I interpret it as the judge is basically saying the fourth cause will go against the City but do we really want to spend everybody's time and money "for what" you're going to loss anyway. And the point has been made. Unless for some reason the ...more

Your last paragraph in your most recent note is SPOT ON! What an uphill battle that will be! Can GRB sue the city for all the work done on this project? They approved the plan !
Comment by shneps on Jun 22, 2024 9:24am
There are quite a few City indemnification clauses that prevent persons from suing the City but I will not even try to state an opinion whether they could actually find the City responsible for the outcome. I have often wondered about both the City's and in particular the District's request for documents/emails. The viewpoints from Greenbriar/lawyers/consultants related to the independent ...more

In GRB March 18th news release they state that the fight between the city and the WD doesn't change the timeline or really affect them as it is about future projects after GRB's. Any thougts on this after the judegement? Maybe there is an issue maybe not...guess it depends on the WD now. They also say they are breaking ground in April which seem laughable at this point unless they can ...more

Well jeff and grb have no choice to try their best to solve this with WD , or otherwise the company is screwed,    besides jeff and grb may be liable for their statement which we can find wherever  from news releases or the interview videos . A class action lawsuit ..  they wouldn't want that .
Comment by Blizzy420 on Jun 23, 2024 10:45am
Well said Schnepps..  a reasonable timeline IF everybody still wants to move forward with GRB.... IF

Blizzy, too bad you are too lazy to read the judgement and actually post something useful. There is a lot of good info in there. Read it, then come back and contribute to the discussion.

I agree.   It's summer and I have better stuff to do.   There will be lots of time.   I'd rather read the full judgement when time permits and hopefully that company has provided some additional commentary.  Until then I'll leave the speculative comments and angry rants alone

It actually doesn't take very long to read the judgement, and any real investor wouldn't be making excuses why they are too lazy to do their DD. If you aren't interested in your investments, why are you posting here? Oh yeah, you just like attacking those who do their DD and try to figure things out. Enjoy that "better stuff", whatever that is.

lol.  What could be better than posting on stockhouse and getting pulled into toxic exchanges with people I don't know or respect.   Like many, I don't plan to sell my shares based on this outcome.   I do believe there is a path forward however I am not certain of what that will be right now.  Instead of speculating I'll allow the company to issue a response and ...more

Hey Ernie if life is more important than a silly stock why do you spend 35 hours a week watching GRB quote and another 25 hours posting on GRB  STOCKHOUSE. Sell your shares and with the cash go buy yourself a six pack. Let's go Ernie.
Comment by Alex1726 on Jun 23, 2024 1:25am
Hold on to your shares there is a lot of north american cities willing to roll out the red carpet for projects like Sage Ranch. GRB has a bright future with or without Sage Ranch. Just ignore this basher little Ernie he enjoys thinking you'll loose your investment in GRB.

Dream on. Jeff said the WD, which really means the , individuals making up the water district, shoukd be charged with the law successfully used against organized crime . The WD not only would never help Jeff, they can't help Jeff.  They'd be saying you can calll them anything, you can sue them and insult them. And still get your water

I knew there are red flags when i saw the way how jeff the ceo communicated with certain people on the stockhouse .  I mean that was something i saw the first time a ceo would do that .  And probably going to screw up something down the road because that attitude.    But still there are other people in Grb more approachable  like Chris etc maybe able to clean up the mess . ...more
