Unfortunately, looks very much like a ploy by the funders lawyers to situate the case in a US court knowing the ‘accused’ would not show or even recognize such a court ruling. They are simply trying to get another legal ruling in the funders favor hoping that this will ‘eventually’ encourage Krygyz to agree to pay something.
A $15 mill award probably now doesn’t even cover both funders’ costs never mind give them any gain. Don’t look for any chasing of Krygyz related assets in US Courts either as courts have looked negatively on punishing other shareholders for a case their company was never involved in in the first place. May be why Stans did not pursue this in CAD court.
Further, I read that that $500,000 payment to Stans was if the ‘entire’ award was eventually paid,
plus all costs. This is not going to happen. Remember they haven’t even got the approx. $250,000 awarded years ago by the UK court to Stans. Again, the two funders are already considerably out of pocket and could be facing more years in court, if Krygyz does not cooperate. Do we really think they are going to give Stans half a mill for a case costing them millions? Plus does Stans have another 1 + years oxygen.
If I was Stans I would keep on the trading halt for however long they want under the guise of news to arrive, change of company status, etc. helps avoid BK and 'technically' keeps them alive. For what I do not know.
