Previous BO Offer?

Can someone enlighten me regarding the previous amount per share that a buyout was offered for? I thought I remember seeing someone mention a 40 cent offer that was rejected, but I'm not 100% familiar with those details - if true, and if there were other offers previously made.

Cheers

Hello, VanLad No one outside LME ( and the buyers) will know about an offer price until it is announced publicly.  The recent FAQ and Steve referred to previous interest at a premium to the current price ( Aug 3 I think) which was at 43c.   So there wasn't a 40c offer, just an offer above 43c.  Could have been 1$ or 100$ or 75c all we know it was above 43c

For Steve to make this comment he would have to be on the very safe side for him to make. I think it was not advised but on the margin why go there. Steve is a spokeman for the compnay. Remember back in 2019 they fined elon musk 20 million and had him removed as CEO they would make 500k car in 2019 they only make 400k. Now we are not testla for sure and musk kinda of got himself attacted because ...more

Not sure why the rant.... But LME released the FAQ with the information in it. Steve just pointed to the paragraph in the LME release when someone asked about a previous offer. Soooo yes he was being very safe, reiterating what LME released.

I am baffled why that was a rant. I did not disparge anyone, nore was it my intent. The other person was asking about what something meant and how to interpret, I gave context and rules on how this type stuff can be said.

Anything longer than 1 paragraph is a rant.... lol Didn't say it was an angry rant.  You just got really passionate about something and went to town.... Nothing wrong with that!

Lol accepted was too long. I did just cut and paste and you can tell from typos in first paragraph and later stuff was well written. If I tried to summarize would have messed it up.

People on here get very upset if you say anything bad - or even simply ask question about - their precious LME. I continue to re-iterate that I am a holder of LME for several years, and have never sold a share. Why I get flammed for asking legitimate questions is beyond me lol. It's very Bitcoin-esque.

Easy everybody, I don't see anything inflammatory from anyone here.  The point is right that anyone speaking for LME in a real way has an obligation to disclosure and since it's in type that obligation lives forever so you'd better be sure about what you're putting out into the universe.  I agree with that totally and I definitely have to live by it. Sure that was a long ...more

thanks steve!!! lol just kidding... appreciation for this post because i feel like some people dont realize what is on the line for steve, roger, and cynthia. if their sane mind (which everything points to it) it shouldnt even cross your mind that they are lying about what they know or any of this.

Please help me out here and improve my posts. Where did I imply someone was lying or misrepresenting something.
Comment by KaBams on Sep 16, 2023 11:07pm
I pretty sure no one made it public what previous offer was at.
