Sprott weekly wrap up - Eric is pumped

Can't believe this has not been posted yet... got in some more today before this became public and hyped.  Start around 13:30 if you want to skip .. Eric's singular focus is on NFD (14:40).  Usually they go through a bunch of stocks - today was just that area and no other ideas are focussed on. Will be a big couple weeks ahead.

SIC  was the seed that ES saw Earily....  Only  one  he  has  exceeded 20% in... I like it. Sounds  like  he  is  prepared  to wait for the  drill to tell the  story.. ES  is a  long  hauler...JMHO

Froude continues, “During the final two weeks of drilling, we focused both drills at the Footwall Splay to take advantage of the last of the “winter” ground conditions and we are very pleased with the results.

I take that to mean that SIC will announce assay results soon (next week?)....? Otherwise, why would Tim not convey these results to shareholders via press release as SIC shareholders eagerly await the next assay results (which I assume is what Tim is referring to when he states "results") if these results have already been received by SIC from the lab.....?

PART OF THE MAY 27TH SUMMARY I POSTED OF THE WEBCAST RELATING TO THE O/S DRILL HOLES. So a "few" weeks from the below starts from May 27th according to Tim. A "few" weeks could be a bit longer since Tim said it is difficult to predict the fact the labs are so busy.     Tim on Moosehead-  We still have 14 holes with partial results. We have 2 holes with no ...more

Ah, so Tim is saying he has "partial" results on 14 holes and this is what he is referring to when he says he's very pleased with them. I guess SIC shareholders will have to wait and see what the final numbers are on the entirety of the holes. Thanks for clarifying. Also, anyone know what is barge work is as it relates to drilliing for gold (never heard of it before).....? Is it a ...more

AL -- the following may also be another explanation for being "pleased with the results". During the inspection process of the drill cores prior to them being cut in half and sent to the assay lab for processing, the SIC team would be searching every inch of same for indications of visible gold and other for geological information that will assist the drill program. Perhaps a core has a ...more

KEWI002 your explanation is more logical and surely the reality, it is very easy for a geologist to have a very good idea of the results of the mineralization and its length with the visual. In the current case Tim is referring to the last 12 holes drilled and that he is very please with the results ... here we should change results by visual. The results from Tim is probably about the split and ...more

Kewl, thanks for your post. Yes, I have seen photos of NFG cores that have bits of visible gold llttered across the exterior of the core, which woiuld be an indication that the assay results have a great chance of being outstanding, so it makes sense that seeing such a thing would make one pleased right off the bat before the cores are sent to the lab..... Your explanation of barge work is also ...more

Thanks for the post. I stopped listening to these since Eric has been away. However, Eric stated to the guest directly in their conversations that Newfoundland is his entire focus now. He is very bullish on it. Also note ES has a stable of experts and the fact he has such a large position in SIC is a great sign. Tim and Benton picking up those large land packages will be huge for long term ...more
