I have never seen high oil prices and a strong dollar. The effect of this will be catasptrophic for many countries. EXCEPT for countries like Indonesia, with excess energy capaciity and the opportunity to earn US dollars. Of course, all the stakeholders of Selat Panjang are aware of this. Meaning the macro enjvironment couldn't be stronger for a MUTUALLY BENEFITIAL deal to be concluded. The bet here is a strong one. IMHO
And for SNV shareholders, should Selat Panjang come to pass and we are th eproud owners of a oil producing asset in the near future, it will be a life altering for many in the chaotic future ahead.
