RE:RE:Stock price disconnected with cobalt price I pulled the following quote from that baystreet piece. "Not only is US Cobalt (TSX:USCO.V; OTC:SCTFF) fully financed to develop its Idaho Cobalt Belt project, but it hopes to prove up 10 million tonnes of cobalt resource. That's worth a potential $1 billion at today's prices with a grading of 0.59 percent."
Now I havent seen management say anything in writing about a potential 10M tonnes, but the historical data already shows 1.3MT and it sounds like they believe that 10MT is a possibility. If that ever came to fruition, that would be 3x the resource size of ECS (3.48MT @.55%CO) and at a higher grade (Iron Creek historical data shows .61% CO). At todays CO prices, that would easily command a market cap of $300M-$400M which is 10-13 X USCO.v current share price. That's why many, including me, are starting to get excited about this story. It could potentially be very very profitable. But at this point, its still a speculative play and should be treated as such. This isn't a locked in homerun. But quite exciting nonetheless. GLTA
