RE:RE:RE:RE:Long Run vs. Spartan - My takeThat's exactly why this would be the worst time to have a bid come in...it is rare to find bids with a premium exceeding 100% (although not unheard of) and it seems anti-takeover defenses do not work well on such small firms in Canada. So they would be gobbled up...if it were SPE, it would sicken me, on the other hand, it would be the self-fullfilling prophecy of having a high share price in the first place. There is something to be said for having the backing of the major banks and players in Calgary, that is quite literally an invaluable commodity.

Good luck to LRE and its shareholders as they navigate these troubled waters. Left untouched and prices recovering, this one could easily be above $3 in 2016...we know how the sector goes from fear to greed...right now, the fear factor is very high...
