Do you know when Xebec first traded down to $0.76?

It was on May 19th.

2 months and a day ago.

All your worrying, and fretting, and hand-wringing since then haven't done you one iota of good.

Companies don't flourish or flounder in 2 months.

Jim Vounassis had been CEO for a week on May 19th.

Senior management's competence or lack thereof can't be determined in 2 months.

Greenlane is down 12% since May 19th.

Xebec hasn't budged.

Kurt sold 7+ million shares on the 12th and 13th. Guaranteed. That's why he didn't remain on the board, as per the original plan.

So the founder, your hero sells all his shares, gets out of Dodge. Is that a good thing like Martha would say? Peace
Comment by LongoGlueStick on Jul 20, 2022 8:17pm
If Kurt believed in Xebec, he would not have sold all his shares. Kurt doesn't think Xebec will survive.

Why is TT reporting speculation as fact? (Unless I missed something?)
Comment by filoux004 on Jul 20, 2022 9:23pm
Simple, TT is never wrong. Peace

Speculation, you're missing nothing. 4.7M traded on the day of earnings, 8.7M traded the day after for a total of 13M shares in those 2 days.   Kurt had under 8M shares. I have no idea how the numbers are a telling match to say Kurt sold all his shares in the first 2 days. Subsequent to those 2 days, 23M shares traded in the following 9 days for a 11 day total of about 36M shares ...more

No Tony I said you were naive in thinking people don't know wether he sold shares or not. I have always stated that I don't believe Kurt sold his shares I don't think he was or is desperate for money and I think he knows the potential for the value of those shares is much higher.

I think maybe you are just misunderstanding me Tony. I think Kurt sold no shares. I also think there are posters here who know people that know Kurt personally and can confirm that he sold no shares. I said you were being naive in thinking people don't know that's all I said I never said anybody knew Kurt sold shares.
Comment by tony08 on Jul 21, 2022 6:39pm
A little bit better but still exaggerate as an explanation....much much harder  to say " i was wrong" but demonstrates more class and maturity
Comment by Gann999 on Jul 21, 2022 7:10pm
Really not sure what your issue is Tony if I was wrong I would admit I was wrong but I never said people know Kurt sold shares feel free to go back and find the post where I said that, you won't. I said you were naive in thinking people don't know that's all I said then you twisted that into me saying people knew kurt sold shares. Anyway hope that clarifies it for you.

I don't know about you Gann, but nobody knows all the details of my portfolios. What I sell and when I sell it and at what price.....no one knows. On this board, I occasionally talk about my Xebec shares and at what average price I acquired them, but that's it.   If ever someone was in the confidence it would be someone I really trust and who would certainly not go and ...more

You are free to believe whatever you wish Tony it's not my goal or job to convince you otherwise and we are both shareholders and want the sp to go up. I am just of the opinion that using Kurt selling his entire position as an explanation for the poor sp is such a poor cop out. In my opinion it's an attempt divert attention from the real reason which was poor margins and losing way more ...more

I agree with that Gann
Comment by Ottery on Jul 21, 2022 1:39am
Agreed, he's probably wealthy enough as it is. Know ide why TT keeps pushing this without confirmation.
Comment by tony08 on Jul 20, 2022 10:37pm
It is possible to have convictions, but it should not be acted as if it was a fact.   TT you may be right, it's always possible, but it's your way of saying it as if it was factual and proven that takes away all credibility.   Couldn't you change the way you say it by adding the possibility that it's just your conviction and nothing more.
