About a $1.2 million bet - timing is tricky. Small caps will get hit if there is a major market pullback but any sniff of flogging Port Moody should release a lot of uncertainty.

Probably some US Macro fund trying to make a bet against Canada.  Opportunity Cost of cash is 5% and need to cover dividend so fund has around -11% cost.  Not a good bet IMO. The time to ...more

Interesting - short position has sat at about 200k for a long time.  but last 2 weeks of August it popped by 50% - just over 94,000 increase in shorts and stock price continued downtrending.  ...more
