The last ISM manufscturing numbers in the US was around 47, if memory serves, indicating contraction in manufacturing activity. Anything under 50 is contraction.

He uses WTI as a benchmark, as that's the price most people are familiar with.. to go into each blend in detail would be too complicated for each stock and quite frankly a waste of time for a one
