There are still regulatory boxes to tick, but shareholder vote and court approval are both big positives. The deal has been derisked, and will continue to be derisked as time progresses

The news was not officially released until around 6 PM EST - after the Alberta Court Approval following the vote.  Now Canexus share price should be tied to Superiors which closed today at $9.65. ...more

A yes vote would most like be worth a quick 10 percent pop in the price. Might be worth a trade.

Agreed, in my humble opinion this deal is going to happen. ( Superior might have to sell some assets to appease the regulators) But canexus will get the votes they need.
