Fair point, but in this case, look what happened when the dividend was first initiated. In this case, the dividend was part of the deal for an asset (stock) purchase, so cutting the dividend

One more thing that I should mention. You might want to hang on to older TV and computer displays. Don't throw them out. Most LCD's are LED backlit. Those LEDs are semiconductor P-N junctions.
