Osisko Royalties and investments

hopefully now the 1.39 buyout rumour may grow legs

Buyout rumour? I think that the $1.39 number was an analyst's estimate of where the price could go, not a buyout rumour. And if someone wanted to buy it, why not put a 50% premium oit now and get ot for $0.57??

Silly Bugger math would say that insiders have given the company some sort of a value. Silly bugger math indeed. The purchase of the NSR before the current resource, which many would feel is the first decent resource estimate at BGM for many man years, would have to be considered a risk investment. Not a certainty and not something to base a even "100% NSR" napkinn scribble evaluation on. An advanced study (PFS or FS) is much better, one that considers all economic factors ...more

A risk yes... and likely a very conservative risk ;-)

Nothing is a certainty Hammerhead... I didn't use the initial NSR value as it was 0.75% for $12.5MM. That would have been a silly bugger $1.6B valuation which was indeed a risk buy but the applied value hasn't changed a whole bunch. These guys know what's there. Hence the 'Silly Bugger' math... PFS and FS will be much more accurate but in ithe abscence of either... this is ...more
