My advice, based on sad experience: sell HVU today, like right now. It could easily open at $25 tomorrow and decay further from there.

Yes, it has dropped but you can't directly related HVI to spot VIX. The term structure month 1 to 2 was in severe backwardation last week and until only a day ago.  As of today the curve is ...more

VIX front month Future has dropped $8.18 or 30% since Feb 09/18......... comparatively ...... HVI has only increased $0.25 cents or a little over 13% during the same timeframe. Hmmm....things just ...more
